“I said ‘where are the women?’”

Diversity

After asking at a TaylorMade product launch why there were no women featured in their marketing, PGA Professional Emma Booth’s career took a remarkable turn.

Not only was she visited at Winchester Golf Academy, the facility she runs with her husband, by senior TaylorMade representatives from Europe, but the CEO, David Abeles, flew in from California to talk about how the brand could improve its female offering.

Emma then became part of TaylorMade’s newly-formed Women’s Advisory Panel, and in early 2023 she was selected in BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour Power List, comprising the UK’s 30 most influential women in sport.
