It might be one of the most beautiful countries in Europe, but with only 13 golf courses Slovenia will only ever offer limited career opportunities for an ambitious superintendent.

Gaining experience at Baltusrol Golf Club and Harbour Town Golf Links, Vanja then volunteered at The Olympic Club, San Francisco, ahead of the 2012 US Open. She ended up changing the cups on the back nine during the tournament.
