Stadium golf experience gets new CEO

NextLinks, an off-course golf experience that combines simulators with expansive putting greens under one roof, has appointed a new CEO.

Dan Mechem has been appointed to the role as the US-based company aims to build up to 20 indoor golf stadiums over the next five years.

The entertainment venue connects the end-to-end experience of playing a golf hole, allowing players to tee off and play to the green via a simulator, and hole out on the purpose-built putting greens adjacent.

Mechem, a veteran media, entertainment and financial executive who previously served as a press secretary for John McCain and as a White House Correspondent for Fox, commented: “I believe NextLinks will not only revolutionize indoor golf with its mind-blowing technology, but it will also help grow the game of golf by engaging and entertaining people of all ages.

“This is the next generation of the golfing experience and I look forward to leading the charge in the worldwide growth of the company.”
