Watch: Luffenham Heath Golf Club ecology walk

Late last year around 20 members of Luffenham Heath Golf Club joined course manager Jonny Peacock for a short walk around the layout in Rutland, England.

The 75-hectare site has embarked on a five-year ecology management plan and works alongside Nature England and the STRI as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).

“I feel proud to be working at Luffenham Heath – I think there are a lot of courses that would love to be SSSI,” Peacock told Syngenta Golf.

“It’s an honor and I think all the members should appreciate what we have and why we do our best to look after it.”
