love.golf

love.golf is a female golf coaching programme with a difference.

Based on ground-breaking research and academic study, the program is focused on social, group coaching. The new female golfers primarily learn and acquire new skills while playing on the course, rather than on the practice range.

Unlike traditional golf lessons, which many women find off-putting because of their sometimes overly technical and monotonous nature, the coach is re-positioned as a facilitator of a relaxed and enjoyable playing experience.

A decade of love.golf

Since its inception in 2015, love.golf has introduced and retained thousands of new female customers to the game across the UK, Spain, Sweden, Germany, Canada and Panama.

More than just a coaching program, it’s a proven model that removes barriers, builds confidence, and creates a welcoming community where women thrive.

The program, supported by Syngenta, was developed by PGA Fellow Professional Alastair Spink during his academic study at the University of Birmingham in the UK.

A $35 billion opportunity

Syngenta’s groundbreaking global study on female golf participation revealed that prospective female players could contribute an additional $35 billion to the global golf economy.

The research found that 29% of non-golfing women and lapsed players were interested—or very interested—in taking up golf within the next two years.

It also highlighted a key opportunity for family engagement, showing that women are 38% more likely than men to bring children to the course.
